To develop discipline, resilience, and excellence...on the field, in the classroom, and in life!
Dillon Conway is a 6'3", 230-pound safety at Eastern Illinois University, where he wears No. 4 and is pursuing a degree in Finance.
A Chicago native, Dillon played at Mount Carmel High School under head coach Jordan Lynch, where he helped anchor a defense that allowed just 13.9 points per game his senior year and contributed to back-to-back IHSA state championships in 2022 and 2023.
As a redshirt freshman in 2025, Dillon appeared in all 12 games as a starter on special teams and a reserve safety, finishing the season with 26 tackles, including 16 solo stops. He showed up biggest on the biggest stages — recording a season-high six tackles and an end-zone interception at Alabama, and forcing a turnover with a fumble recovery in Eastern Illinois' win over Tennessee State.
Known for his football IQ, reliable open-field tackling, and team-first mindset, Dillon brings the same discipline to the classroom that he brings to the field. As a Finance major, he is building a foundation for success long after his playing days — because for Dillon, football is what he does, not all of who he is.
Football runs in the family: his father, Duane Conway, played offensive line at Eastern Illinois in the early 1990s before signing a free-agent contract with the Indianapolis Colts.
